Klarna

How it works

  1. Add products to your Shopping Bag and select “Klarna” when you check out
  2. Enter a few personal details and you’ll know instantly if you’re approved
  3. Klarna will send you an email confirmation and reminders when it’s time to pay and you can manage your orders and payments in the Klarna app.

Review your latest purchases and make payments in the Klarna app or online.

Safe and secure

With Klarna, you are always covered through Klarna’s Buyer Protection policy. Modern safeguards protect your information to prevent unauthorised purchases.

Klarna's Pay in 3 / Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. Late fees may apply. T&Cs apply.

Please note, Klarna will perform a soft search with a credit reference agency.

Visit the Klarna FAQ page to find out more about using Klarna.

Clearpay

We no longer accept Clearpay at Marai, but we may consider reintroducing it in the future. In the meantime, if you're looking for payment options similar to Clearpay, we recommend trying Klarna.

Payment Security

MARAI uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect the data you send us over the internet. If SSL is enabled, you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out more information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

You will also notice that when you look at the URL at the top of the browser you will see that it begins with ‘https’ instead of ‘http’. This means that you are in secure mode.

PSD2 Authentication

If your card issuer is based in the EU, you may be asked to verify your payment due to a new requirement under the second Payment Services Directive (PSD2). You’ll be directed to a dedicated page to enter further information or asked to authorise the payment using your mobile phone. Once completed, you’ll return to MARAI

Saved card details

To make shopping quicker in future, you have the option to safely store your credit card details.

Your full card details will never be displayed, only the last four digits so that you know which card you are using.

You can delete your card details by unticking ‘remember my payment details’ on the payment page. If you change or add a new address, you will need to re-enter your card details.

Taxes and Duties

Taxes and duties are calculated according to your shipping destination. Make sure you select your location to view the correct local market pricing, delivery times and shipping costs.

VAT will be applied to orders dispatched within the United Kingdom, excluding the Channel Islands.

Customers are responsible for any potential duty fees that may be incurred once your order has reached your area of residence.
